How does AI enable students as they prepare for their future?
As technology advances, so should a student’s ability to understand and utilize it. Much like the internet, the car, and even the printing press, Generative AI creates many opportunities that were unimaginable a few short years ago. We believe that the students who are enabled by this technology will have an advantage over those that were not. Employers have been using algorithms to auto-deny applicants for years, we level the playing field.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is student data and privacy protected?
The job seeker has control over who has access to their information. Employers and teachers can see the profiles of the job seeker only after the job seeker approves their access. This happens when a job seeker swipes to apply to a job nearby or signs up for our resume builder with their school account. Contact information is strictly confidential. Resumake does not share user data outside these two groups.
Where can students find jobs using tools built by Resumake?
The Resumake team works hard to make sure that every user finds value while using tools on the Resumake platform. There are currently more than 2.5 million job listings available to apply to in the United States and access in other countries is coming soon. Our mission is to replace the “Now Hiring” sign in your community by providing a wide selection of employers who need help near you, no matter where you may be.
What kinds of jobs are on the Resumake platform?
Roughly 80% of job seekers between the age of 16 and 26 do not use platforms like LinkedIn or Indeed when they are looking for a job. They instead ask friends, family, and school counselors to help them make connections nearby. Resumake’s mission is to help young job seekers find jobs near them through an app that feels as familiar as the other apps they use for 2+ hours each day. Entry level hourly positions are our priority.
